Lactalis Deutschland GmbH warns of metallic foreign bodies in seven goat cheese products produced by Société Fromagère de Riblaire in France. According to a statement on Saturday, the following products are affected by the recall: "Milbona soft goat cheese", "Chêne d'Argent goat cheese roll", "Roi de Trèfle Saint Maure goat roll", "Gut

According to the announcement, the products have been on the market throughout Germany since the end of August, including at Lidl, Pierre Meyer, Edeka and Aldi Süd. The sale of the products has been stopped. Consumers who have bought one of the products are asked not to consume it and to dispose of the food themselves or to bring it back to the store. The purchase price will be refunded, even without a receipt.

Consumers can contact the customer hotline with questions on 0049 6543 503 603, which is open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Lactalis Deutschland GmbH writes in its announcement that the recall will be carried out in close coordination with the responsible authorities. It continues: "We regret that the affected goat cheese products do not meet our own high quality standards. We have taken immediate action to ensure that our production continues to meet strict quality and food safety standards."
