The mayor of Valladolid, the socialist Óscar Puente, has made this Tuesday an appeal to the "responsibility" of the city's hotels not to "kill this goose that lays the golden eggs" that sporting events represent, since he denounced this weekend "exorbitant" prices were seen.
In his speech in the extraordinary plenary session on the Debate on the State of the City, the councilor has demanded that the hotel establishments have "contained prices" to "put their shoulders together" and that this business is not "flower of a day" .
The reference of the mayor of Valladolid occurs this Tuesday, after a weekend in which he recalled the city has hosted numerous sports competitions that meant that there was not even a place available to stay.
However, he criticized the high prices seen in some establishments, reports Ical
During the same, the alderman has assured that "Valladolid is advancing and doing it in the right direction", despite the effects of the crisis derived from the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
