This cleverly maintained vagueness leaves the door open to a decision which can be announced either before the last day of Ligue 1 scheduled for Saturday evening at 9 p.m., and therefore of the PSG match against Metz, or the day after the end of the championship.
If he decided to leave Paris Saint-Germain to join Real Madrid, and if he decided to announce it on Sunday, Mbappé, after five seasons in the capital, would therefore not be entitled to farewells and a celebration worthy of the name on the part of the Parisian public.
If he were to announce an extension to PSG before the kick-off of the meeting, we can imagine the triumphant reception of the Park from here.
This should not happen on the set of "Téléfoot"
A little earlier in the evening of this Thursday, it was nevertheless certain that the PSG striker would reveal his new career plan this Sunday. Several media announced it and it stuck with the declarations of the best player of the championship who had indicated, at the end of the UNFP ceremony, last weekend, that he would decide before the gathering of the France team scheduled May 28.
