The nominations of candidates are accelerating with the approach of the provincial elections next October and two deputies from Quebec solidaire confirmed on Saturday that they were returning to the arena to run for a new mandate.

The deputy for Rosemont, Vincent Marissal, thus announced his return during an event organized in the presence of François David, former co-spokesperson of the party, and Alexandre Leduc.

“Four years ago, I committed myself alongside you to find solutions to your daily challenges and above all to build a green and united society in which no one is excluded. Too many decision-makers hide behind pseudo-pragmatism to justify their inaction, but for me, it's all about choice and political courage,” said the candidate.

Another place, same atmosphere in Rouyn-Noranda, where Émilise Lessard-Therrien was officially invested to seek a second term in her riding of Rouyn-Noranda–Témiscamingue.

Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois, the supportive spokesperson, was on hand for this announcement.

“My 2018 election broke down doors, we proved that Québec solidaire in the regions is possible! You have to believe that it's in our genetics to open trails in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, well that one has created a tidal wave of hope in all regions of Quebec," said Ms. Lessard-Therrien during the 'event.
