Post: Stamps bearing the Queen's face remain valid

Millions of British postage stamps featuring the late Queen Elizabeth II will remain valid, the national postal service Royal Mail has confirmed.

If and when new stamps with an image of King Charles III. will be produced is still unclear. "We will announce future stamp issues in due course," the Post said. "As usual, we will consult Buckingham Palace before making any further announcements."

According to the Royal Mail, the mailboxes with the insignia of the late Queen will not be exchanged either. "As in the past, all existing letter boxes will remain unchanged on the death of the monarch. Letter boxes already in production or being prepared for installation will also retain Queen Elizabeth II's insignia."
