An 88-year-old man died in Halstenbek in the Pinneberg district after falling out of his wheelchair. According to the police's previous findings, the man probably accidentally touched the vehicle's accelerator when crossing the road, causing the elevator to accelerate rapidly, a police spokesman said on Tuesday. As a result, the man fell on the road on Monday and suffered a head injury. He was resuscitated at the scene and then taken to a hospital. He then died there, the spokesman said.
