The 29-year-old was on course for a clear round on his third outing on the TPC Craig Ranch course, having stalled an eagle and five birdies in his first 15 flags, but made his only misstep , a bogey, on the 16th hole. He eventually hit the white object 66 times (-6), giving him a cumulative 195 (-21).

He will start the final round ahead of American Jordan Spieth and Chilean Joaquin Niemann, who are one and two strokes behind respectively.

The round of the day, however, goes to James Hahn, who took 11 shots from par 72. This performance of 61 made him jump 34 positions and he is tied for fourth place.

Despite everything, he did not give the best card during this edition of the competition, since Munoz, the leader, had played 60 (-12) during the first day of activities.

Hahn will still enter the final round three shots off the lead.

The only two Canadians still in contention, Adam Svensson and Michael Gligic, are far behind, they who share the 69th place, 14 shots behind Munoz.
