The party will be full swing in the Olympic City during the first weekend in June. The Jazz festival will return to Albertville for two days. The festival's opening will be Thursday June 2nd with the screening at the Dome of Limbo. The film tells the story about Omar, a young Syrian musician arriving in Scotland with his grandfather’s musical instrument. On Friday, June 3, a number of concerts will be held to mark the occasion. Square Soutiras will be welcoming Pierre starting at 4 p.m.

Square Soutiras will be entertained by the Roccasera quartet at 4 p.m. The Alpen trio will follow. Vladimir Torres will perform the first part, before Andre Manoukian takes the stage at the Maistre theatre.

Other concerts and events will take place in the Olympic City during the festival. A Batucada initiation will take place Saturday, June 4, between 10 and 11. Then, free concerts will be held on the Place de la Liberte from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
