One killed in shooting attack at Washington supermarket; gunman still at large

On Monday, a gunman opened fire on a grocery store in southeast Washington, killing at most one person. Police are now searching for an "armed, dangerous" suspect.

Kennewick Police Department has released photos of a pickup truck in white and a man wearing a dark-colored vest and checkered shirt who allegedly shot at minimum two people at Fred Meyers in Richland.

Richland police stated in a statement that the suspect should be considered dangerous and armed.

Richland police asked residents to "avoid Richland Fred Meyers along Wellsian Way," Richland police stated in a social media post posted at 11 :17 a.m. PST .
The market is located just two miles west the Columbia River, and 220 miles east downtown Portland.
