Despite the two-year-old pandemic that was exacerbated by the uncertain war in Ukraine, the major businessmen and experts of Ibero-America will gather next June 1 and 2, in what will be the V Edition of the CEAPI Congress. Under the slogan "Innovation and opportunities in times uncertainty", this event will bring together agents from Spain as well as other countries in Punta Cana (Dominican Republic).
These two days will see speakers and participants discuss the social role companies play in the transition towards a more sustainable society. A number of important figures from all walks of the political, business, and institutional worlds will also be present. Nuria Vilanova (CEAPI president) believes that, despite the economic difficulties (inflation and bottlenecks, crises of raw materials etc.), the economy is still in good shape. There are "many opportunities" for investment on both side of the Atlantic.

CEAPI's president admits that Ibero-America still lags in technological advancement, but that this allows for quicker incorporation into all new technologies. He also pointed out that Congress will debate "what can be the catalysts of change". These include the creation of companies with impact, technology, incorporation of women, and their leadership and entrepreneurship skills, or generational changes that contribute to "greater social conscience" as well as being "more innovative".

Nuria Vilanova highlights that the Dominican Republic is hosting the fifth edition CEAPI to reflect the idea of "more Ibero-America".
