A woman suffered life-threatening injuries in a car accident on Autobahn 20 near Grevesmühlen (Northwest Mecklenburg district) on Tuesday evening. Two other inmates suffered serious injuries, a police spokeswoman said. She did not initially provide any further details.

Shortly before, two people near Gnoien (Rostock district) had been seriously injured when a car collided with a bus stop. The car probably left the road on the B110 in the direction of Ticino because it was going too fast, the spokeswoman said. The car crashed into the bus stop and then rolled over.
