Designed by Fran Silvestre Arquitectos, the NIU Houses, a pioneering project in our country, are a reality and already have 3,500 requests. With an investment of more than ten million euros, behind this initiative is the alliance between the investment fund Stator Management and the renowned architecture studio.

This Friday, May 20, the N290 model will be inaugurated in El Vedat (Torrent, Valencia), which can be visited during the coming months. During this year the urbanization in Campolivar (Valencia) will be completed where all types of furnished houses can be visited, with the garden and swimming pool executed. Likewise, you can visit a full-scale N70 in the studio that the architecture team has in the Valencian town of Godella.

These homes have revolutionized the traditional construction system by systematizing construction processes and incorporating techniques with a high component of innovation, design and sustainability. They are completely configurable from the beginning by the buyer, who chooses qualities, knows the total cost without deviations and its delivery time.

Máximo Buch, managing partner of Stator Management, has very positively assessed the evolution of the project, "we are very satisfied with the good results that the alliance with Fran Silvestre Arquitectos is giving for the development of NIU Houses", he pointed out.

The speed of its processes has allowed the usual construction times to be reduced to one eighth and delivery is guaranteed in three months. This allows the developer to recover their investment in a much shorter period of time. In addition, for the first time in this type of housing, its entire envelope is 100% extruded aluminium, a light but very resistant material, totally recyclable and that allows it to be modeled for all types of finishes.

"The care and precision in the design process and during its execution allows us to ensure that the aesthetic quality of the product is integral," says Fran Silvestre. The architect points out that each piece has occupied a specific place and they are assembled with a rigorous technique, as is done in the motor industry, avoiding waste and guaranteeing the final quality, thanks to the industrialization of the process.

These houses are true benchmarks of design, which is demonstrated in each of the details and in their interior design that has been carried out by Alfaro Hofmann, resulting in useful homes, but also beautiful ones. They have different typologies that range from a single-bedroom home to the larger one with seven and distributed over two floors.

Undoubtedly, one of its main characteristics is its clear and firm commitment to sustainability, since all the houses are designed to have the minimum energy consumption and have renewable energy generation systems.

"From the manufacturing process itself, where the carbon footprint is reduced to a minimum, to its subsequent life, in which the choice of natural materials facilitates their possible recycling, there is a committed attitude to guarantee the minimum environmental impact," he explains. Wild. It should be noted that the houses have a long useful life because the houses are not demolished, but rather dismantled or updated in a circular economy process.

Technology is also a strong point of the NIU Houses, which can be seen reflected both in the execution process and in the experience of using these homes. In fact, some of the materials come from the aerospace industry. Controlled from a smartphone or tablet, home automation makes the user experience complete and can manage aspects such as lighting, air conditioning, television or irrigation, among others.
