When Sebastian Erler sees a small aluminum boat approaching, he throws the rope ladder over the ship's side. Six wooden steps bang against the dark hull of Erler's fishing cutter. The "SAS 107 Crampas" is a few hundred meters from the harbor entrance of the Rügen coastal town of Glowe. Little wind; the Baltic Sea almost as smooth as glass.
