Elon Musk announced this Friday that the $44 billion deal for the purchase of Twitter is temporarily on hold. As he explained, he is "waiting to learn more details about the number of false accounts" before continuing with the operation.

After the announcement, the price of Twitter has fallen 20% in electronic exchanges prior to the opening of the Wall Street stock market.
