King Felipe VI received the president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, in an audience this Wednesday morning after the elections of February 13 in the Community and his inauguration for a second term in the Presidency of the Community.

Felipe VI and Alfonso Fernández Mañueco already saw each other yesterday, Tuesday, during the visit of the Head of State to the Ponferrada City Council, with whose corporation he held a meeting, and where he presided over the final act of the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the university campus of the capital of Bierzo .

Precisely, during a press conference collected by Ical, the spokesman and Minister of Economy and Finance, Carlos Fernández Carriedo, explained that the President of the Board, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, has transferred to the monarch that «Castilla y León continues to want to contribute decisively to the project of Spain as a nation» and expects from this project a commitment to its rural world, with depopulation and the productive sectors that are going through special difficulties at the moment.
