A pear tree is in Turkey. The man who owns this tree lives in Germany. His name is Fikri Anıl Altıntaş. In his book "In the morning a pear tree grows", the son of Turkish parents writes autobiographically about a childhood in an industrial area: "The limits of our reality were those of our apartment on the first floor of the social housing block." Above all, however, the author talks about his father. A man with whom he brushed his teeth in the evening for many years and who lived and thought so differently – above all about masculinity.
