Looking for Roberto three years later: waiting for the clue that does not come

In the Civil Guard they do not give up their efforts, "waiting for a reaction from someone who might have information." The search continues for Roberto García Solana, a resident of Casarrubios del Monte (Toledo), 1.70 meters tall, normal complexion and short hair, who disappeared on February 18, 2019. He was 63 years old. "We are waiting for that call that does not come to find Roberto," an agent who has participated in the latest raid tells 'ABC'.

The Judicial Police (PJ) of Toledo has never neglected this investigation to find the ex-sheriff of the town, where the local Police remember him daily in two of their patrol cars: one is labeled with the name of Roberto and the other, with that of 'general', a name by which he is known among municipal agents.

This Friday, the Civil Guard has released some photographs and a video of the raids that took place last week in the triangle formed by Casarrubios, El Viso de San Juan and El Álamo, the Madrid town where Roberto was lost. . Twenty agents participated, with dogs from the Cinological Service specialized in searching for people and from the Special Group for Underwater Activities (GEAS). Members of Civil Protection of Casarrubios and workers from the town hall of this town collaborated, cleaning the areas that were tracked: wells, ponds and roads, as well as the vicinity of the Guadarrama River as it passes through the province of Toledo.

In the Civil Guard they want to have the same luck as the National Police this week: the same day that the photographs of the most wanted criminals were distributed, a citizen's notice allowed the arrest of one of them. In the case of Roberto, his family and the PJ de Toledo agents are waiting for the clue that will allow them to know his whereabouts.
