The Group of Specialists in Aquatic Activities (Geas) of the Civil Guard has located at 10:45 am today the lifeless body of the 86-year-old woman, a resident of the Bercian municipality of Camponaraya, missing since Thursday morning.

The octogenarian has been located in a siphon of a secondary irrigation channel in the municipality of Dehesas, located about three or four kilometers in a straight line from her home, according to sources from the Government Subdelegation in León to Ical.

Throughout the three days of searching, several Civil Guard teams have been deployed in the town of Berciana, with the helicopter, the team of guides with their search dogs and Los Geas, due to the search for the woman spread to canals and ditches near the area where it was last seen.

The device also had the participation of the different patrols and citizen security units deployed in the search perimeter.
