45 years ago, Nina Hagen spoke out against stupid television consumption in her song “TV-Glotzer”. “Everything is so colorful here,” she screamed into the microphone, accompanied by the sounds of vomiting. Recently, as I was working through my old WhatsApp chat histories and deleting unnecessary things, this scream came back to me. I was really dismayed: so many photos! So many videos! So many emojis! Sure, there were some important conversations among them. But much more that is irrelevant. A garbage heap of digital fast food.
