After a Corona break of almost three years, the Rostock "HochzeitsMesse" started its 22nd edition on Saturday. More than 70 exhibitors are the contact persons for prospective bridal couples on an area of ​​6500 square meters until Sunday. Bridal, men's and festive fashion shows, among others, are presented at daily fashion shows. Visitors receive tips and advice on tailor-made outfits, wedding hairstyles, wedding cakes, rings and floral decorations.

During the pandemic, weddings and weddings were often postponed. Many people plan the "most beautiful day" of their lives down to the last detail. In Rostock this year, 1074 appointments are planned for marriages, of which experience has shown that not all are booked.

According to the city, there were 1050 registrations in 2022, and 900 couples finally said yes. In 2019 there were 1003 marriages. Special combinations of numbers are in demand this year. In Stralsund, for example, March 23, 2023 is already fully booked with seven weddings.
