Legislative in The Landes: 3rd District, who are the candidates?

Outgoing MP: Boris Vallaud (PS). The Socialist Party's national spokesperson sets out to win the constituency now owned by the Nupes. In a territory in which he was defeated by a candidate from La Republique en Marche by 691 votes, he will have a lot of work ahead. This is a notable fact in a constituency where the cursor has been on the left since the 80s. It was Henri Emmanuelli's stronghold. This year, nine people will try to take the Palais Bourbon chair, including Jean-Francois Broqueres, Tartas mayor, and Jean-Francois Broqueres, former socialist who went to Emmanuel Macron.

This eminently agricultural constituency, which is a hotbed for foie gras production in Landes, has seen major avian crises twice consecutively, will see the results of Christelle Lassort, Jean Lassalle's candidate, who will be leaving under the Resisttons banner. Unknown is the score of National Rally, which Sylvie Francheschini will represent as regional councilor. More than 30 municipalities placed Marine Le Pen ahead in the second round of the presidential election.
