Langon: The Grangousier restaurant opens the guinguette beneath the poplars

Celia and Arthur Lecocq wanted a new challenge at Le Grangousier. Two and a quarter years later, Celia and Arthur Lecocq envisioned a "new space of sharing": the large green area located directly in front of their restaurant. Young entrepreneurs built a kiosk beneath the poplars to be lulled by the croaking and quavering goats.

The new Langon guinguette will be housed in this new wooden cabin. It has been remodeled in Alice in Wonderland-style. The new Langon guinguette will be available all summer from June 2 through July 2, at 6 p.m. until midnight. Fridays (5:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.) are the only days it is open. Saturdays (6:00 p.m. - midnight). We wanted weekend customers from the very beginning of Grangousier. Celia Lecocq believes that the guinguette format might be more appropriate. She wants to offer a relaxed menu with local products, such as falafel, charcuterie, cheese board, and burrata. Sud-Gironde wines and beer will be honored.

Chef Arthur Lecocq, wearing a top hat, will be at the stove. Anne Miltenberger, a decorator, came to assist us in creating an Alice in Wonderland-themed guinguette. "Wild objects were found.

A special evening of inaugural celebrations is planned for Thursday, June 2nd at 6 p.m.
