A 58-year-old motorcyclist was fatally injured in a collision at an intersection in the Lahn-Dill district. An 85-year-old wanted to turn left in his car near Odersberg on Friday afternoon and overlooked the motorcyclist driving straight ahead, the police said. The biker was flown to the hospital by rescue helicopter after the collision with life-threatening injuries. He died there a short time later. The 85-year-old was unharmed. The public prosecutor's office has commissioned an expert to investigate the accident.
