Unknown persons broke into several buildings in Kehl (Ortenaukreis) and left a trail of chocolate bar paper in their wake. According to the police on Monday, the investigators assume that the suspects stole the chocolate bars at the beginning of the robbery series and then gradually ate them. That's why it's likely that the same perpetrators are involved, said a police spokesman for the German Press Agency.

In total, the strangers broke into six buildings during the night on Sunday. They also stole a van worth around 25,000 euros and tried to break into a gym. For the time being, the police did not provide any information on the damage and other stolen goods.
