José Vicente de los Mozos receives the Grand Cross of the Order of Isabel la Católica

The world deputy director general of Renault and president of the Executive Committee of Ifema, José Vicente de los Mozos, has received the Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic from the hands of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, at the Viana Palace , in Madrid.

The world deputy director general of Renault and president of the Executive Committee of Ifema, José Vicente de los Mozos, has received the Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic from the hands of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, at the Viana Palace , in Madrid.

The award ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Board, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, as well as the Minister of Industry, Reyes Maroto, among others. The Council of Ministers awarded the award to the senior executive on February 15.

De los Mozos (São Paulo, 1962) studied Aeronautical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. In 1993 he moved to Paris, where he held various positions of responsibility.

Between 2003 and 2009 he worked for Nissan, occupying the management and vice-presidency of Nissan Motor Ibérica, and later the general management of Ficosa, an auto parts company.

In 2012, he rejoined Renault as CEO of Renault Spain and vice president of the assembly plants, in 2013 he was appointed executive vice president of the group's manufacturing and supply chain and in 2016 head of the Department of Health, Safety and Environment .

In April 2018, he was appointed Alliance Deputy Executive Vice President, Manufacturing Operations and Supply Chain. Also in April 2018 he was appointed president of the sector's employers' association, Anfac. In October 2019 he was appointed global deputy general manager of Renault and since June 2020 he has combined this role with that of chairman of the Executive Committee of Ifema Madrid.
