José Ignacio Gutiérrez 'José Lloréns' from Toledo has won the Painting Medal at the XVI Spring Salon 'For Lands of Castilla-La Mancha', which is held until August 14 at the Valdepeñas Municipal Museum.

The act was chaired by José Gabriel Astudillo, president of the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors. Born in Bilbao, Lloréns has been from Toledo by adoption since 1966 and has won this award for his work 'La Presa de Toledo'. In addition, the Sculpture Medal went to Sergio García from Palencia for 'Hands weaving'.
