The Cognac Marathon volunteer night, delayed due to Covid-19, brought together nearly 250 volunteers from villages across the country (flaggers supplies, bibs and security, etc.). The invitation was accepted by both partners. (out of 300).

Maxime Dauvel and Nicole Joly, co-presidents of the event, paid tribute to Philippe Bernard (one of the pillars at the Marathon), who passed away suddenly at the beginning of the year.

Despite the difficult health situation, the 2021 edition was held in excellent conditions and there were more than 2,500 competitors at each race's start. In memory of the 20th edition, a few dedicated volunteers and partners were given a barrel stave. For the 21st edition, see you November 10, 11, and 12 2022!
