The Court of Instruction number 1 of Orihuela has agreed provisional prison, communicated and without bail, for the 30-year-old man arrested for allegedly having killed another 50-year-old with a hammer in his home in the town and seriously injuring the mother, from 80.

He is being investigated in an open case for a crime of homicide and another of attempted homicide, according to sources from the Superior Court of Justice of the Community to Europa Press.

The events occurred in the early hours of this Tuesday, around 01:15 am, when the intervention of the CICU was requested to assist the two people injured at home.

Apparently, the arrested person had been in charge of installing some bars in the victims' homes, a task for which they should have paid him the amount of 50 euros, which had not occurred.

It was the neighbors who alerted the Local Police and the health services, who first found the badly injured old woman inside the house, along with the man, who in this case had injuries and heavy blows to the head caused by a blunt object.
