The Minister of Education, Culture and Sports, Rosa Ana Rodríguez, has announced that Isabel Buleo Espada will be the new director of the Science Museum and the Paleontological Museum of Castilla-La Mancha.

The until now coordinator of Culture of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha, Isabel Buleo, will be in charge of managing these two spaces after the departure a year ago of its previous director, Santiago Langreo.

Isabel Buleo Espada has a doctorate in Science and Restoration of Artistic Historical Heritage from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, as well as a degree in Art History. She also has two university master's degrees, one of them in conservation and restoration of cultural assets and another in teacher training.

The new director of these two museums located in Cuenca also has two publications and has an outstanding career in the world of research, having worked at the University of Guadalajara (Mexico), at the Spanish Biblical and Archaeological Institute of Jerusalem (Pontifical University of Salamanca) and at the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum (Valencia).

The Minister of Education, Culture and Sports wished Isabel Buleo "all the best" in this new stage as director of the museums and thanked the outgoing director for his work and his commitment to turning the MUPA and the Science Museum into " two national and international referents».
