After various burglaries in restaurants and shops in downtown Flensburg, the police are now publicly searching for the alleged perpetrator with photos. A large number of burglaries between April 9 and August 9, 2022 could be assigned to the man, as the police announced on Wednesday. The fact that the burglar always used the same procedure, in which the burglar used force to open doors or machines with tools, suggested that it was one and the same perpetrator. Video recordings were also made of various crimes, in which the burglar mostly stole small amounts of money or alcohol, in which the man always wore the same clothing and a mouth and nose protector.

Since the man could not be identified so far, the Flensburg district court issued the decision for a public search for the perpetrators. Now the search is on with two photos showing the perpetrator during a break-in into a restaurant in Flensburg harbor.
