Imprisonment for mother and daughter for attempted recruiting of killer

The 41-year-old daughter was sentenced to five years in prison for attempted incitement to murder, and her 69-year-old mother to three years in prison. According to the indictment, the mother ran a restaurant and contacted a regular customer. He met the women, but only pretended to respond to the criminal request and informed the police.

The two accused developed the plan to kill in November last year. According to the public prosecutor's office, they wanted to prevent having to grant the daughter's former partner custody or visitation rights for their child. They also wanted to punish the man for hitting the 41-year-old during the relationship and for having gambled away around a hundred thousand euros from her and her mother's assets.

According to the indictment, the mother first felt at the regular guest. When he signaled his basic willingness to act, a joint meeting took place. The daughter handed over several photos of her former partner, his shift schedule and a note with his name and address. The alleged killer also received 17,000 euros.

At another meeting, the 41-year-old told the man that he should shoot his former partner in the heart, mouth and head - and that death would also please her mother. The man only pretended to accept the offer and turned to the police instead. The two women were arrested and taken into custody.
