Hundreds of people have packed the square of the Burgos Cathedral this Saturday at noon to sing the Hymn to Burgos, in one of the most emotional acts of the San Pedro and San Pablo Festivities. The Ciudad de Burgos Band has been in charge of putting sound to the anthem composed by Rafael Calleja Gómez, whose lyrics were written by Marciano Zurita. A hymn that was first sung in 1926.

With the help of the Federation of Burgos Choirs, the Burgos City Music Band, the Burgos Arans-Bur association of deaf people, who interpreted it in sign language, and the city's clarineros, a year has been sung plus the traditional hymn to Burgos, collects Ical.
