Hubert Lenoir: an electrifying return

Hubert Lenoir was electrifying on Friday night at the first outdoor party at the Santa Teresa festival.

For the occasion, the singer presented for the very first time on Quebec soil the songs from his second album "PICTURA DE IPSE: Direct Music", released in September 2021, on the Main Stage at the end of the evening. It was also the highlight.

«I’m back!»

Lenoir, who has just returned from a tour of Europe where he has been since the end of April, took the stage at around 9:40 p.m. wearing a wedding dress and a trapper hat on “GOLDEN DAYS ".

The crowd gathered at the foot of the stage seemed likely happy to be reunited again at this boutique festival held in Sainte-Thérèse, on the north shore of Montreal. In festive mode, she cheered the singer on his arrival on stage, but also sang with him the words of several of his songs, including "MTL STYLE LIBRE" and "Si on s'y metait", by Jean-Pierre Ferland , published on “Darlène”.

In an overexcited atmosphere, Hubert Lenoir, who was in splendid shape, also performed during his concert the three singles from his most recent album, namely “Secret”, “Dimanche soir” and “Octembre”. Like a real "show man", the singer occupied the whole stage, danced with his singers and musicians and showed great ease.

On his first meeting with the festival, Hubert Lenoir was assigned to Cha Cha, a bar with barely 200 seats. At the time, his single “Fille de personne” had just been launched and a crowd of around 600 people had gathered at the entrance of the establishment to see it. They were much more numerous Friday evening.

The pop-rock ball of the first outdoor evening, which marked the big return of the "Gros Show" on the Main Stage, was launched by Lydia Képinski, who also presented her second opus, "Depuis", released in recent weeks, and by Choses Sauvages.

The Santa Teresa festival takes place all weekend long with its program of good years, paid and free outdoor concerts, evenings at the church and in various places in Sainte-Thérèse. For details: santateresafest.ca
