ClimateLaunchpad, the largest pool of entrepreneurial ideas that end up in successful startups and coordinated in Spain by Avaesen, the Valencian association of energy companies, reaches the 2022 national final with a high level among the eleven teams that have participated in this last day . Hidraqua has been one of the companies that has supported this initiative and has also been part of the jury of this final, as a leading company in the application of policies to mitigate the effects and stop the climate crisis.

Thus, the company that manages the integral water cycle, through its digital transformation center Dinapsis, has been collaborating with this action for five years, where it has participated on some occasions in mentoring the teams, and on others, as members of the jury. .

A solution to reduce the need to connect electric bicycles to the network to charge their batteries has been the winner of this edition.

Nine years after its birth, ClimateLaunchpad is the largest national and global competition that launches entrepreneurs who fight climate change into the startup world. And in this Spanish edition, ideas are presented to democratize renewable energy and increase its traceability, mobility proposals around green hydrogen or last-mile transport logistics.

Low-cost energy efficient architectural alternatives, applications to buy products or services from completely sustainable companies, ideas to extend the life of each charge of electric bicycles or a personal air purifier have also been presented.

All the teams have been formed in the last month and a half with expert mentors who have tested their ideas, improved their presentations and accompanied them in improving the product so that they can launch it on the market.

ClimateLaunchpad is part of the EIT Climate-KIC project for entrepreneurs, the main innovation initiative on climate change in the EU. The contest is coordinated in Spain by Avaesen, as a member of EIT Climate-KIC, an association awarded the prize for the best European cluster in 2016.
