The Ministry of Universal Health and Public Health has reported this Friday 3,326 new cases of coronavirus confirmed by PCR test or through antigen tests since the last update and 17 deaths in the Valencian Community.

Of the total number of infections, 1,486 are from people over 60 years of age and Valencian hospitals currently have 652 people admitted, 34 of them in the ICU.

As for the 17 deaths from coronavirus since the previous statistical balance of the Generalitat, the date of death is in the last 15 days. They are 6 women, between 81 and 96 years old, and 11 men, between 55 and 90 years old. The total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic amounts to 9,433: 1,103 in the province of Castellón, 3,586 in Alicante and 4,744 in Valencia.
