The expert jury, consisting of media experts, awarded a total of 16 awards in four categories and three special prizes. TV chef Tim Mälzer (52) secured two prizes. His VOX format "Zum Schwarzwälder Hirsch - an extraordinary kitchen crew and Tim Mälzer" not only impressed in the "Entertainment" category, but also received the audience award from the Marler Group. In addition to Mälzer, Jan Böhmermann (42) also scored in the "Entertainment" category with his "ZDF Magazin Royale". In addition, the actors of the Netflix success "Fab Five" get a special award for their ensemble performance.

The Netflix streaming service is also represented in the "Fiction" category with the "Kleo" series. However, this dominates the ZDF with three productions: "The Wannsee Conference", "In the Fire - Two Sisters" and "Neuland". In addition, the student jury awarded a prize to the horror film "Sleep".
