Ensures that IU was "aware" of the vice president's plans and that the synchronization with her platform is total

MIERES (ASTURIAS), 21 May. (EUROPE PRESS) -

The federal coordinator of IU, Alberto Garzón, has defended that the political parties should not set "the rhythms and times" for the second vice president, Yolanda Díaz, in order to promote her new political project, since she must lead all the steps to "keep adding"

In addition, he has indicated in reference to the creation of the 'Sumar' association, which will help organize the listening process with civil society that Díaz will deploy after the Andalusian elections, that his organization is "perfectly aware" of the advances and has guaranteed UI "synchronization" with that project is "maximum".

At a press conference in the framework of the 'Training School' that IU displays in the Asturian town of Mieres, Garzón pointed out that the space on the left is in "redefinition" and the leadership of the head of Labor embodies "much of the desires" and "hope" of the unity project that multiple actors want to build, including their organization.

"It is she who has earned authority and legitimacy in her daily work in defense of the working class (...) And it is she who has to be able to weave a road map with the rest of the actors who We want to be part of this process and support her in this type of initiatives that she wants to carry out, which we at IU are perfectly aware of", she explained during her appearance.

On the other hand, Garzón has slipped that his formation knew the intentions of the vice president with this new entity, which will be the instrument of the consultation phase that will co-star with social agents, and that IU is going to contribute its "baggage" and "political experience " to promote this new platform, which will continue to stop the extreme right.

In turn, last Thursday the head of Equality, Irene Montero, said that she was unaware of the constitution of the new Diaz association and stressed that Podemos, from its organizational strength, will always contribute to the processes of deepening democracy.
