Sergio Perez (Red Bull), a Mexican driver, set the fastest time at the Monaco Grand Prix's 3rd practice session. This was the 7th round in the Formula 1 World Championship. Perez was able to finish in 1 minute 12 sec 476/1000th. He was only 41/1000th behind the Monegasque Charles Leclerc, (Ferrari).

Perez was the dominant driver on Friday under the sun and heat of Monaco. He took the win in the final practice session before qualifying. The Spaniard Carlos Sainz, another Scuderia driver set the third time. He was followed by Max Verstappen (Red Bull), who is the champion.

Pierre Gasly (AlphaTauri), a Frenchman, is in top form since the weekend's start. The Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton, George Russell and the Mercedes of George Russell placed the 7th and 9th time respectively. They are well ahead of any Frenchman on track. Esteban Ocon (Alpine) was only 17th.
