Already this Sunday it can be 25 degrees in southern Germany, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Saturday in Offenbach. Otherwise it is still unstable and cooler. It is raining in a strip from Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate to Saxony, north of it it is overcast and does not get warmer than a maximum of 20 degrees.

On Monday, all of Germany - with the exception of the extreme north - can look forward to values ​​above 20 degrees. In addition, it is mostly dry at first and the sun comes out. It only rains on the Frisian coast. In the course of the day, heavy showers and thunderstorms will move in from the north-west, which will also reach the south and east by Tuesday.

Summer values ​​​​in October occur again and again. The monthly records for Germany are more than 30 degrees, as DWD meteorologist Felix Dietzsch announced. In the middle of the week, however, it also cools down significantly. A new high will bring "a return to calmer autumn weather at seasonally average temperature levels with early sun and fog."
