US actress Lindsay Lohan announced in an Instagram post that she is pregnant. "We are blessed and excited," she captioned a picture of a white baby bodysuit with "Coming soon" printed in black lettering. She also tagged Bader Shammas in the post. She told the US celebrity portal "TMZ": "We are very much looking forward to the arrival of our new family member and to the next chapter of our lives!"

A rep for the couple confirmed to US magazine People that the actress and her partner got married last July after Lohan Shammas named her husband on Instagram. They announced their engagement with a series of Instagram photos in November 2021. "My love. My life. My family. My future," Lohan wrote about some of the couple photos at the time. The actress also proudly presented her magnificent engagement ring to her fans. According to "Mirror", Shammas is a financial expert. The couple made their red carpet debut in early November 2022 at the premiere of Lohan's Christmas-themed Netflix film in New York. Little else is known about their relationship.

The baby news is now causing even more enthusiasm. Congratulations quickly accumulated under the Instagram post. "This is wonderful news," wrote actress Amanda Seyfried, colleague Elizabeth Gillies commented on the photo of the romper with: "Congratulations!" Fashion designer Donatella Versace left some star emojis, Paris' mother Kathy Hilton heart emojis and the comment: "I'm so happy for you."
