Fires: 87-year-old slightly injured in a room fire in Heusenstamm

An 87-year-old woman was slightly injured in a room fire in Heusenstamm (Offenbach district). A technical defect in an electric blanket was probably the cause of the fire, said a police spokesman in Offenbach on Tuesday. An armchair and other pieces of furniture caught fire. The 87-year-old was taken to a hospital with mild smoke inhalation, it said.
