More classic garments can also be seen, with long, austere, often double-breasted coats, sometimes with extremely pronounced shoulders, and wide-cut trouser suits. It's a transitional season for Gucci. This collection was created by an anonymous design team who performed as one after the show for the final applause. At the end of last year, the fashion house parted ways with its creative director Alessandro Michele. He had previously succeeded in giving Gucci a new identity with an expressive, imaginative and often gender-neutral style.
