"Farmer is looking for a wife": Patchwork and panic at the last minute

The ninth of twelve episodes of "Bauer sucht Frau" (8:15 p.m. on RTL, also on RTL) will run on Monday - and two candidates are only now starting their farm week. Tade (26) invited Emely (25). At first she is surprised that Tade's house resembles a construction site: water damage. But the sheep farmer from Schleswig-Holstein scores with his lady-in-waiting, who also comes from the north, as a typical North German "dry type".

The second late starter is Maik (30), also from Schleswig-Holstein. He was not present at the barn festival before what felt like 50 broadcasts, and his chosen one canceled at short notice. But now he gets a visit from Kathrin. The sweet-hearted young woman undauntedly addresses Maik's mother on a first-name basis and sits down at the dining table in his regular place. Her open nature is well received by the farmer and mother.

Martin (56) has been with us since the last episode. However, he and Carola (54) are not really warming up yet. She lends a hand, but human closeness does not yet develop. Martin is used to working alone, he doesn't react to physical advances in the tractor. "I was focused on mowing, I didn't have an eye for that," he says.

The established couples are getting down to business. Jan Hendrik (41) panics at the gate. On a bathing trip with his farmer Michael K. (28), he bursts into tears. Jan Hendrik is toying with the idea of giving up his job and his place of residence for Michael. But since he is afraid of being hurt, he doubts and hesitates.

Jörg (49) and Patricia (40) are already one step further. The two dare a patchwork rehearsal with their children from previous relationships. The widowed Patricia brings her son Manuel with her. Jörg hugs him warmly. According to his mother, the teenager with Asperger's doesn't really like that, but he reacts benevolently. Manuel is allowed to lend a hand together with Jörg's nine-year-old son Niklas. Unlike his anxious mother, he enjoys driving a tractor and thrives on the farm. A first family reunification seems to have been successful.

With Ulf (31) and Anna Lina (28), a harmonious and pleasantly unspectacular farm week comes to an end. Apart from small teasing, there were no conflicts. Anna Lina positively thinks Ulf is "crazy", she likes to stay with him on the farm for a few more days. "It's in the direction of infatuation," she says. With him, even "the butterflies in his stomach have doubled".
