In a huge hangar in Quonset Point in the US state of Rhode Island, work is done in piecework: welders work on aluminum sheets. Three new ships are taking shape, you can already see their hulls, each about 27 meters long. The first of them will be launched this spring. It's designed to take workers to the wind turbines that need maintenance off the New England coast.
