There was an explosion in a detached house in Spangdahlem in the Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm, in which a resident was injured. The man was taken to a hospital, police said. Significant damage was done to the building on Thursday night. Since it is in danger of collapsing and cannot be entered, no precise information can be given as to the cause of the explosion.
