Laurence Philomène is a non-binary person born in 1993 in Montreal, Canada. Not binary, which means she defines herself neither as a woman nor as a man, but as a trans person. She has been injecting testosterone every two weeks for four years. Hormone therapy is part of transition, the process by which a trans person initiates physical, social, and even legal changes to express their gender identity. This includes, for example, operations or name changes.
