District of Harburg: "Aktenzeichen XY" picks up on a murder case from 1989

Almost 34 years after the murder of a 45-year-old woman in the district of Harburg, the case was picked up on Wednesday evening in the ZDF program "Aktenzeichen XY... unsolved". A chief inspector will report on the so-called cold case from 1989, the police said in advance. At that time, the early retiree was killed on April 10 on a forest path between the villages of Holm-Seppensen and Sprötze by a stabbing.

At the end of February this year, a total of 150 objects were found during an extensive search in the affected forest area, four of which are now classified as relevant to the investigation. The TV program should therefore report on the fate of the murdered. The investigators are still hoping for information from witnesses that will lead to the identification of the unknown perpetrator.

Police report from 21.3. Police report from 6.3.
