Two and a half weeks before Christmas Eve, more than 100,000 letters from children from all over the world have already arrived at the Christkindpost branch in Engelskirchen. This was announced by a spokeswoman for Deutsche Post on Wednesday.

There are many "classics" on the wish lists this year, such as Lego, Playmobil and crayons. But many children also wish for peace or more time with their parents.

All letters received by December 20th will be answered by the volunteers. The address is: To the Christ Child, 51777 Engelskirchen.
