A 40-year-old man and his 17-year-old son have been charged in the US state of California with the murder of rapper PnB Rock ("Selfish").

According to the prosecutor in Los Angeles, the duo also has to answer for robbery. The teenager was caught, the father is still on the run. His 38-year-old wife, who is in custody, has been charged with aiding and abetting.

PnB Rock was with his girlfriend on September 12 at a Los Angeles restaurant where the 30-year-old musician was mugged and shot. The shooter threatened the victim with a gun, demanded jewelry and other items, and fired multiple shots. Then the perpetrator fled in a vehicle waiting in front of the restaurant, it said. The rapper, whose real name is Rakim Allen, was known for songs like "Fleek" and "Selfish".
