After the fatal knife attack in Ludwigshafen, an arrest warrant was issued against the alleged perpetrator. A judge decided that on Wednesday evening, said a spokeswoman for the Rheinpfalz police headquarters on Thursday in Ludwigshafen.

The Somali national is said to have killed two 20 and 35-year-old men with a large kitchen knife in the Ludwigshafen district of Oggersheim. A few hundred meters away, the 25-year-old is said to have attacked a 27-year-old with a knife in a drugstore and seriously injured him. Police officers put the perpetrator there and stopped him with a gun.
